For the race in Tremblant, Canada I recharged and really went for it.
Unfortunately, I hadn’t done a good enough inspection of the course before the race. I only got to race a short part the first day before I missed a gate. That stung but that’s also a part of life.
The next day it was time for the giant slalom race. I probably stayed at least ten minutes extra at the inspection of the course at the edge where I missed the previous day because I was so nervous. The first run I felt stiff and nervous. In the second run I found some good flow and was very happy to take home my first podium of the year.

After Canada we went back to Europe and the next giant slalom race took place in Semmering, leading after the first run. In the second run the surface was quite uneven and I ended up a bit on my heels. My skiing ended up being more passive but happy to be on the podium again.
