After a challenging pre-season with illness and setbacks, I arrived in the USA with a new mindset — to simply enjoy skiing again. That change made all the difference. Skiing with freedom and confidence, I won the second giant slalom race of the season and carried that momentum throughout the winter.

For a period of time, I was leading both the Giant Slalom World Cup and the overall World Cup standings — a milestone that showed both my level and consistency at the very top of the sport. I finished the season with another podium and a top-three ranking in Giant Slalom, making it one of the strongest seasons of my career. Just the World Championships didn’t run like in my dreams, so another reason to keep on working hard.
